About Student Health Services

Chhavi Noohani, D.O. completed her residency in Family Medicine at St. Luke鈥檚 University Hospital in Pennsylvania after having attended Auburn University for her bachelor鈥檚 degree and Nova Southeastern University where she received her medical degree in Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Noohani is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. Dr. Noohani has been a trusted urgent care physician with Wellstar for many years, consistently serving in a leadership role and achieving the highest ratings in patient satisfaction. She is a native of 91青青草 where she received her certification of completion with the 91青青草/Wellstar Physician Leadership Academy. She went on and is set to complete her MBA with Louisiana State University. Dr. Noohani has recently served as a Physician Lead within Urgent Care where she has focused on team collaboration, quality of care, and achieving high value metrics. Dr. Noohani is a mother to two awesome children with her husband who is also a physician with Wellstar. She enjoys physical fitness, traveling, and spending all free time outdoors.

Duska Dyer, M.D., completed her residency in Family Medicine at Emory University after attending the University of Belgrade in Serbia, Yugoslavia, where she received her medical degree and trained in Pediatric Neurology. Dr. Dyer is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. She is very passionate about preventative medicine and helping patients with their wellness journey. Excellence in quality of care, patient experience and team collaboration drive her in the workplace. Dr. Dyer is a mother to two awesome children and enjoys tennis and hiking. 

Emma Guice is a board-certified family nurse practitioner.

She earned her Doctorate of Nursing Practice Degree from the Medical College of Georgia. She received her Master of Science Degree in Nursing from Kennesaw State University and Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of South Alabama.

Before joining Student Health Services, Emma worked as a critical care staff nurse. In addition to her time in the Student Health clinic, Emma has served in the WellStar School of Nursing as an Assistant Professor. She enjoys mentoring students and educating future nurses.

In her free time, she enjoys watching sports, playing tennis, fishing and spending time with family and friends.

Karla Miralles is a board-certified family nurse practitioner.
 
She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice Degree from Maryville University of St. Louis, Missouri, her Master of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Minnesota and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of South Carolina. 
 
Karla is an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and Sigma Theta Tau, an International Honor Society of Nursing. 
 
Karla鈥檚 combination of clinical education and experience provides a strong academic foundation for the holistic approach to her patient care. She is passionate about health promotion, disease prevention and wellbeing. She is fluent in both English and Spanish.
 
Karla is married and has four adult children. She and her husband enjoy football, traveling, cooking and spending time with the family.

Iliana is a board-certified family nurse practitioner.

She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of North Georgia and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Valdosta State University.

She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, United Advanced Practice Registered Nurses Association and the Sigma Theta Tau Honor鈥檚 Society of Nursing. Her graduate thesis, Electronic Cigarettes: A Literature Review was published and appeared in the ADVANCE journal for Nurse Practitioners.

Iliana lives in Marietta, Georgia. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, attending sporting events and spending time with family and friends.

Jade Lam is a board-certified Adult and Women's Health Nurse Practitioner. She attended the University of Florida (Go Gators!) where she completed her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She received her Master of Science in Nursing from Emory University where she was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau International Honors Society of Nursing.

Jade is nationally certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the National Certification Corporation. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and Nurse Practitioners in Women's Health. She is fluent in Spanish and is passionate about health promotion, disease prevention, and contraception- especially in the college health setting.

In her free time, Jade enjoys reading, exercise, traveling, and trying new restaurants. She loves spending quality time with her husband and playing board games with her family
