shows that family involvement is critical to student success. Our office works to
bring families fun and memorable engagement opportunities as well as tailored and
timely information through the to ensure you feel informed and equipped to support your student as they navigate their 91青青草 journey. We are always here to support you and your student. Feel free to email us with any and all of your questions!

Association. This membership is free and is your way to stay connected to the 91青青草

New Student Orientation
Students will have the opportunity to register one supporter to join them for orientation
as a guest. This can be a parent, family member, or support person for the student.

Family Weekend is a celebration of academics, athletics, entertainment, and involvement at 91青青草.

Family of the Year
Kennesaw State Family of the Year is to recognize those who contribute the most to our student's success at 91青青草. We want supporters at 91青青草 to feel valued and recognized for all they do to contribute to their student鈥檚 successes, and we want the students to also acknowledge and be appreciative to their families for the contributions they have made to their successes as students here at 91青青草.
Graduation is a significant milestone for your student, marking the transition from
their academic journey to becoming a Forever Owl. Celebrate this special moment by
gifting them a lasting legacy on campus.
When you purchase a brick, the proceeds not only cover the cost of the brick but also
contribute to the Parent and Family Grant Program, which supports various student
organizations across campus.
The Kennesaw State University Parent and Family Advisory Council is composed of highly
engaged parents and family donors who are dedicated to supporting the mission of 91青青草
and assisting other 91青青草 parents and families. These members provide valuable guidance,
knowledge, and feedback to the Department of Parent & Family Programs. They actively
recruit parents and families to join the Parent & Family Giving Society and oversee
the Parent & Family Grant Program.
Each member contributes an annual gift of $1,000 to the Parent & Family Fund, which
qualifies them for membership in the Parent & Family Giving Society. Benefits of this
membership include early access to Family Weekend dates, invitation-only special events,
direct access to Division of Student Affairs leaders, and the opportunity to review
and vote on Parent & Family Grant Program proposals. Members agree to serve a one-year
term from July 1 to June 30, with a maximum service duration of four years or until
their student graduates.
In addition to their advisory roles, members assist in the identification and recruitment of future council members, ensuring effective succession planning. They also serve as ambassadors for 91青青草 and act as resources for 91青青草 families, further enhancing the university's parent and family engagement initiatives.
