International Peer Leader Program
The International Peer Leader Program (IPLP) at 91青青草 consists of high-achieving 91青青草 students who are recruited to come and share their experiences and expertise with new international students, particularly during orientation. As student leaders, Peer Leaders train hard and volunteer at the International Student Orientation to help the new students acclimate. Peer Leaders also mentor our new students and share tips to becoming successful at 91青青草. Additionally, they keep in touch with new students throughout their first semester at 91青青草 and provide support for additional questions, comments, and concerns.

Academic Intervention
At the Global Village, we strive to support and ensure the success of all 91青青草 students. For international students, remaining 鈥渋n status鈥 is an essential part of staying in school and graduating.
International students, whose cumulative GPA falls below 2.0 become at risk of losing their visa and not completing their degree program.
If you are an F1 visa student, and your GPA falls below 2.0, our office will contact
you to schedule an appointment and discuss ways in which we can assist you in increasing
your GPA.
Some of the resources we may suggest include one-on-one weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly
advising with professional staff on study skills; referral to the Writing Center or
ESL Center; referral to the Counseling and Psychological Services Office, and more
depending on the individual student needs.
