Kennesaw State University alumnus Javon Tucker 鈥�23 is acquainted with the old saying that you should never meet your heroes. The Bachelor of Science in Sport Management graduate had that in mind when he transferred to 91青青草 in 2021 and noticed a familiar name on his class schedule. He was enrolled in associate professor B. Nalani Butler鈥檚 sport management course, and he wondered where he had seen her name before. He discovered that she had co-written a textbook used in a course at his previous institution, one he had read with pleasure. Within the first few classes, he realized Butler was special.

Kennesaw State University to launch Bachelor of Science in Artificial Intelligence in Fall 2026

Kennesaw State University (91青青草) continues to be a state leader in the rapidly growing field of artificial intelligence, with the addition of a bachelor's degree in AI approved Tuesday by the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia. 91青青草 becomes the first institution in Georgia to offer both bachelor鈥檚 and graduate degrees in artificial intelligence.

STRIVE Program celebrates first cohort of military entrepreneurs

When Megan Andrews signed up for Kennesaw State University鈥檚 STRIVE entrepreneurship program, she had a business idea but needed help bringing it to life. Andrews was a participant in the inaugural cohort of STRIVE, an acronym for Startup Training Resources to Inspire Veteran Entrepreneurship, a free program offered by the Michael J. Coles College of Business at 91青青草 in partnership with Syracuse University Institute for Veterans and Military Families, designed to help veterans and their families succeed in entrepreneurship.

Kennesaw State researcher develops safer, faster solid-state battery design

The race is on to find safer alternatives to lithium-ion batteries, and a Kennesaw State University researcher is helping lead the way with a new materials approach that could make next-generation batteries more sustainable. Beibei Jiang, an assistant professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, leads a research team developing a sulfur-modified solid electrolyte designed to improve how lithium ions move through solid-state batteries, increasing performance while reducing safety risks.
