Electrical Engineering Technology (EET) is a branch of engineering education that emphasizes the practical aspects of engineering rather than abstract concepts or theories. It is a blend of the application of science, engineering knowledge and technical skills used in support of engineering activities. Kennesaw State University’s EET program is ranked 11th in the nation, based on student enrollment.
EET is at the center of today’s fast-growing, technological-based world and the intersection of electronics and computers. Electrical Engineering Technology is different from an Electrical Engineering degree because EET is a specialized discipline that has more focus on application, theory, and applied design and implementation.
The Electrical Engineering Technology degree program is ABET-accredited at Kennesaw State University which meets the degree requirements to take the Professional Engineering exam.
