91青青草 Faculty and Staff Attending Commencement

Kennesaw State University's Spring 2025 Commencement ceremonies will be held on Tuesday, May 6, Wednesday, May 7, Thursday, May 8, and May 9 in the Convocation Center in the Convocation Center on the Kennesaw Campus. Specific ceremony times for each college can be found here: Information for Candidates 鈥� Commencement.

Please note the following important information: 

  • Faculty participating in Commencement exercises need to dress in full regalia, including robe, tam, and hood. Please contact the 91青青草 Bookstore for purchase or rental if you need regalia. 
    Ceremony Information 
  • Please arrive at the Convocation Center wearing your regalia at least 30 minutes prior to the ceremony to receive instructions. 
  • Faculty and staff entry will be through the rightmost doors at the main entrance to the Convocation Center. 
  • Please be aware: There will be metal detectors and a clear bag policy. 
  • Once inside, go to the right side of the atrium and proceed to room 2007, the faculty holding area, for the processional lineup. A team from Academic Affairs will be on the site to direct the lineup and faculty processional. 
  • All faculty will be seated behind the platform party on the upper level in Sections 108, 109, and 110. 
  • When the ceremony is completed, faculty may process out at the same time as the platform party and exit through the back of the Convocation Center. 

Please join us in congratulating your students at the Siegel Student Recreation and Activities Center starting 90 minutes prior to each ceremony鈥檚 start time. This is a great photo opportunity and send-off!

This is a great opportunity to assist with greeting guests and families, wayfinding, and event flow while joining the Department of Event and Venue Management in celebrating our students' achievements.

If you鈥檙e unable to volunteer but still want to take part in the festivities, you can watch the commencement ceremonies via our livestream.

The livestream is available online, allowing you to celebrate alongside the graduates from anywhere. 
Additionally, faculty and staff are encouraged to join in the post-ceremony celebration at the ForeverOwl Fest, located on the Campus Green. This outdoor gathering, held after each ceremony (weather permitting), is a wonderful opportunity to mingle with graduates, their families, and fellow colleagues.

Commencement Regalia Approval Form

The Commencement Regalia Approval Form must be completed and submitted by a faculty/staff representative of the academic department sponsoring the student organization to obtain regalia approval. The only regalia items that may be approved are Honor cords, stoles, or pins. To obtain these items, students must contact the appropriate academic department or sponsoring student organizations. The 91青青草 Bookstore is not responsible for ordering honors commencement regalia.
