Career and Academic Opportunities

In addition to careers which are typical for graduates holding an MPA: Urban Planner, Human Resources Management, Budget and Program Analyst, and, Administrative Services Manager, students with the combined Political Science degree and MPA might expect to pursue careers in managing nonprofit organizations (such local community service organizations) or to work in political campaigns. The combined degrees are excellent background for those intending to pursue further graduate study in public policy, political science, or law.
