The five undergraduate courses (16-semester hours) will teach you the theories, concepts, and principles underlying conflict and its causes. You’ll also learn:

  • To understand the different perspectives of those in conflict.
  • To develop mutual understanding.
  • To produce positive change, particularly in challenging environments.

How To Earn Your Workplace Interpersonal Relationships Certificate

91 Students

This Certificate is available to any 91 undergraduate student, regardless of major. Current 91 students can add the certificate in Owl Express using the “Declare or Change Major/Minor” link under the Student Records tab.  Interested students are encouraged to first talk with your academic advisor, as the required courses may be allowed as electives in some undergraduate programs. 

Non-91 Students

91 faculty members have also helped six other Georgia colleges and universities add this Certificate. Prospective certificate students from a cooperative institution can participate in any member’s WIRC program without having to go through an additional undergraduate admissions process.

For all other non-91 students who are interested in the Certificate, you will need to apply to 91 as an undergraduate student. On the application, select this certificate as the program of interest.

  • Program Snapshot

    The certificate requires 16 semester hours (5 courses), and all coursework must be completed with a “c” or better. Course options include face-to-face, online and hybrid formats.
