Kennesaw Improv Society, Stupid! (K.I.S.S)
ALL-SKATES takes place on Tuesday evenings as scheduled, usually twice each month at 8:00 pm, during which time participants play with various improvisation formats and methods. ALL 91 students are welcome, member of the ensemble or not. Come one, come all.
The ensemble meets separately to rehearse improv formats and scenarios, honing their skills in preparation for various performances.
FALL AND SPRING SHOWCASES
Each of these showcases features the student ensemble and a professional guest performer. Many of our guests are members of Dad’s Garage, an internationally renowned Atlanta theatre company that showcases improvisation as their core performance genre.
K.I.S.S. has also performed in NYC at Upright Citizen’s Brigade’s Del Close Marathon, appears annually at the Southern Regions of the College Improv Tournament, and has recently been working with Stainmaster Carpets and 91 CARE Center on video shorts for their organizations.
COMMUNITY OUTREACH
On campus, off campus, high schools, businesses, conferences, and fundraisers: K.I.S.S. will improv anywhere the invitation takes us—anywhere that needs a good belly laugh. To arrange a performance, please contact Professor Emily Kitchens.
